Overview
Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠ was founded durring the late 17th century in early winter of the year 1579, by Rhobudve Ziezamrad. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Rhobudve Ziezamrad.
Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠ was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠ is was constructed arround several restrictive packed earth mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The city is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the city's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠'s buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠'s top tier civilian fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.
Even the most brief look arround Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠ has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The city is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Groqüe Nuzvǟ Qo̠, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.
